Day 63

Went by the house today and did some cleanup. The duct people left a nice mess for me.

Day 62

Went by house yesterday. The duct people were finishing up. Yippee!!!! Not much longer until we have new carpet in and I can start painting!

Stopped by the house today, and the duct people were putting in the new downstairs ducts. They have about 10 holes in the floor cut out.

Day 59

Stopped by house on way to get andrew. The duct people were over working on the downstairs ducts. Plus dad was cleaning out the other side of the garage rather than work on the yard.

Day 53 - 58

Leon is waiting on the insurance company for more money. He requested money for the ducts, and he also requested money for the electrical that runs to the ac unit. They said we could possible end up with a new unit in the house.

Day 50

Duct people went by just to see what supplies they will need for the job.

Day 52

Met with Leon and steven at the house about electrical stuff. Good thing I showed up when I did because duct people were there. They were ripping up the new flooring to get to the duct under the house. Why can't people work together?

Leon said electrical is not to be done in whole house, and will call mom to explain.

Steven also reminded me to have John call him about supplies.

Day 51

The electrical inspector came out and gave the green sticker on the wiring. So I went in to take pictures, and I found a burnt wire again. Mom called steven, and he called the inspector. He pulled the green sticker.

Day 49

I have not been to house today. So I do not know if anyone has worked their today!!

Day 48

Went by the house to take some pictures of the electrical wires that need to be fixed. The electricians were at house.

Day 47

Well subcontractors were back at house to cut out more sheetrock and plywood. They did this because the Tulsa Electrical County Inspector wants to see the wires since he already found a few issues.

The duct guy came back out this morning as well, and stopped work because he came across burn wires. Said it could cause another fire.

Dad and Brandon were cutting tree limbs, and they were cleaning up junk pile.

Day 46

Not really happened at house because it snowed....

Day 45

Well showup at house today and find a "Stop work" notice on the door by the county inspector.

Called John, mom, and Leon to inform them. I had to leave a vm for Leon. Mom called the contractors, and had to leave a vm with them.

Day 44

Dad still do cleanup of yard. Plus the electrical person came back out as the duct people came out.

Day 43

Dad work on yard. Plus PSO came out to run power to house, but refused because they said the electrician did it wrong, and that the tree limbs need to be cut/trimmed or it will happen again.

Called mom to inform her..... She called everyone to get it fixed.

Day 42

Dad did cleanup on some of the yard.

Day 41

Well no more subcontractor at the house. They finished yesterday. However, John, Ric, Aaron, Forest, and Mark worked on the house. Holes in walls are all patched. Meadow's floor is finished, and the bathroom is bare.

The guts are going to work more tomorrow on the bathroom.

Day 40 update

Met with the subcontractor and the project manager to do a walk through on the house. Everything looks great!

Also met with the carpet guy. I picked the vinyl color for the kitchen, downstairs bathroom, and laundry area.

I also took a picture of the new chimney and roof!!!

Day 40

I have a walk through meeting this morning with the contractor & subcontractor.

Day 39

Contractors called yesterday to set a meeting got today. Once I go to the walk through. I expect that duct work will begin early next week!

Day 38

I went by the house today and it is looking good. The subcontractor said they only about a day and half of work left. New roof and chimney are up. New flooring in living room. He said electric is fixed in house, and AEP will be out sometime between now bad tomorrow to run power from main line to house.

***John hasn't done anything on house because he has been sick and spent several days in hospital. We hope to get started again soon on the work. First thing to do will be Meadow's floor. That way when they come to carpet they can.

Not sure if any work has happened at the house. We have not been by in a couple of days!
